Terms and Conditions for SEO Services

The Business Club Inc.
Effective Date: Date of Purchase 

1. Scope of Services

The Business Club Inc. (“Provider”) agrees to provide Website SEO (Search Engine Optimization) services to the Client. Services include:

• Primary and secondary keyword optimization

• On-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking)

• SEO-friendly content and verbiage updates

• Use of the free version of Rank Math plugin for SEO scoring

Note: This agreement does not include Google Business Profile optimization or local SEO services, which are offered separately.

2. Rank Math Scoring Notice

The Business Club Inc. uses Rank Math’s on-page SEO scoring system as a guide to optimize your content. Our goal is to achieve a score between 85 and 90, which is considered a stellar grade and often ranks better than most competitors.

Scores above 90 are generally only attainable with Rank Math’s paid AI Content Creator, which is not included in this package. Unless the Client has that service active and linked, scores above 90 should not be expected.

3. Payment Terms

• Website SEO services are billed per page.

  • Standard SEO: $100 per page (normally $150)

  • Rank Math Pro SEO: $200 for the first page (includes setup), then $100 per page thereafter

• Full payment is due before work begins.

• Once work has begun on a page, it is strictly non-refundable, including keyword research, writing, or partial optimization.

• No partial refunds will be issued for incomplete or unused services.

4. Turnaround Time

Standard delivery is 5–10 business days per page, depending on responsiveness and access. Delays in providing credentials or approvals will extend delivery time.

5. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

• Provide access to the website CMS, plugin settings, and any necessary credentials

• Deliver requested information, keyword priorities, and approvals in a timely manner

• Respond within 3 business days to review work and provide feedback

• Report any concerns or disputes within 3 business days of delivery

6. No Guarantee of Rankings or Traffic

Client acknowledges and agrees that:

• SEO is a long-term strategy with no guaranteed rankings, traffic, or sales

• Algorithm changes from Google and other search engines may impact SEO results

• This service does not affect Google Maps or Google Business visibility, unless purchased separately

7. Third-Party Tools Disclaimer

Provider uses tools such as Rank Math and Google Search Console for implementation. The Business Club Inc. is not liable for service outages, plugin errors, or functionality changes from these third-party platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Provider is not responsible for:

• Changes in ranking or visibility

• Business losses or penalties from search engines

• Website issues outside the scope of SEO work
  Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client.

9. Intellectual Property

All SEO strategies, content, and keyword research remain the intellectual property of The Business Club Inc. until fully paid. Redistribution or resale of the work is prohibited without written permission.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing.
If terminated:

• Client must pay for work completed

• Pages that have entered production are non-refundable

• A 50% cancellation fee may apply for projects in planning but not yet started

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep shared materials, logins, and business strategies confidential. Client also agrees not to share proprietary methods or pricing.

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, with disputes resolved in Chesapeake, VA courts.
